Mayowa Ogunbayo, another friend of Nigeria’s hip hop artist, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has been stabbed to death in the United Kingdom. This brings to four the number of Davido’s friends who have died in October. First was Umueke Tagbo, believed to have died from overdose of alcohol, on October 5, 2017. Then followed Olugbenga Abiodun, aka DJ Olu, and one Chime Amaechi, said to be a crew member of the ace artiste. They were found dead on October 8, 2017 in a BMW car in a garage on Block B, Banana Island, Lagos. Nigerian singer, Davido, who lost 3 of his friends few weeks ago (Tagbo, Chime & Dj Olu), is set to release an album in honor of one of his late friends “Dj olu ”. Davido took to his instagram page to reveal the news. He wrote; Olugbenga Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Olu, and Chime Amaechi, said to be a crew member of the ace artiste, were found dead on Saturday in a BMW car in a garage on Block B, Banana Island, Lagos. Physical examination of the bodies indicated that the victims must have died of an overdose of substances suspected to be hard drugs. The substances were found in the car.

A gorgeous looking 23-year-old lady has been found dead after she was allegedly stabbed to death by the boyfriend over an incident. The matter was reported to the Police who reacted swiftly and started with their initial investigations which revealed that the suspected boyfriend has left a suicide note at the crime scene before he fled. The lifeless body of the young woman, identified as Lebogang Lamola was discovered with multiple stab wounds in Seshego, South Africa on Monday, 24th October. According to Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, Lamola’s body was found by her mother. Jidenna Theodore Mobisson, Nigerian hip hop artist based in the United States, has said one of his goals is to be fluent in Igbo. The Classic Man, as he is fondly known, said he once took a class in the US to get a good grip of the language.
